Hi friends! Welcome to the promised part 2 of the Summer Picnic recipe, where I’m gonna talk all about my beloved pal, the charcuterie board. It’s not just slapping cold cuts and slabs of cheese on a plate and calling it a day, it’s an art form of flavour profiling and arrangements that’s much easier to get right then it seems.

Happy (belated) Summer Solstice, friends! It really felt like winter would never end up here in Canada, and now it feels like the warm weather is passing by far too fast. I’m giving y’all some homework, but it’s pass/fail so there’s nothing to lose; get outside, touch some grass, and let’s build a picnic together.

June officially marks the beginning of summer and with it, Selina's birthday! Here's a refreshing recipe for those sunny days when all you want is something sweet and fresh!

Frangipane blondies may sound fancy, but it really is just the filling of almond croissants slapped on top of a blondie (which is a vanilla brownie). It’s fudgy and tender with a slight crunch from the almonds on top. the texture is perfect and I have to physically hold myself back from making them every week (since we finish the whole tray in less than 24 hours…oops!).

Wow your guests with your chef skills by cooking this juicy, scrumptious short ribs. Selina approved, of course!
